Rob Hoffman has posted a little something about Robert on his website.

“I’m currently helping to produce a magazine for an amazing company called GoMerch!

Our first ever interview with Robert Schwartzman of Rooney is coming soon, as well as a few sweet surprises for the first issue.  It’s gonna be sweet, I promise, so start preparing for massive head explosion.

My photos and writing are going to be featured, as well as, and more importantly, work from some great artists.
So, here’s a shot of Solo Bob watering his plants.  It’s earthy and fun, just like Bob.

I’ll give you guys some more updates in the future, but look out for a tornado of goodness in early July.

According to People.com Sarah and Ned are expecting an addition to the family early next year. Congratulations

“Actress Sarah Jane Morris and husband Ned Brower of the band Rooney are expecting their first child early next year, they tell PEOPLE exclusively.

Morris will be shooting an episode of CBS’s The Ghost Whisperer next week. And while there’s been speculation whether Morris’ character will return this season to ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, there’s been no official word yet. The father-to-be is in the studio working on Rooney’s next album.

The couple, who met while attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas and wed in 2005, live in Los Angeles. – Blaine Zuckerman”

The book “Off the Bus and On the Record” includes  “22 Candid Rock Interviews by the Teen Journalists of the Rock Star”. One of those interviews being with Rooney.

“The reader will be exposed to a very personal side of each artists and gain insight to what really goes on backstage of a concert; it is an opportunity to see artists in a new light,” said Zac.

Brittany noted that the interviews could not be compared to interviews that appear on MTV. According to Brittany, the musicians were more personable around “low-key teenagers” like the Rich siblings. She added that many of the interviews occurred “while the musicians were still living out of vans, before they were media trained.”

“The book includes old interviews from bands before they became huge such as Fallout Boy, Maroon 5, and My Chemical Romance,” said Zac.

Popdose mentions that even though “most musicians are still crass, dull, selfabsorbed, and none too bright” Rooney comes of as “bright and funny, without being puerile”.

I have no idea how old the interview with Rooney is.. But I plan to find out I’ll let you know when I find out.
