The band Candygram for Mongo is opening for Rooney and The Young Veins at the June 20 show in Agoura Hills, CA.
They have a limited number of tickets for cheaper than anywhere else.
So if you want to buy a $12 ticket, you can get it here
As you know, Rooney is going tour soon.
Miranda is looking for people to help her with merch at the shows, so if you’re going to one of the shows and are interested in helping with the merch, please send her an e-mail at merch@rooney-band.com

(sorry, I was bored ;P)
Summer Tour
In case you’ve missed it, Rooney is going on tour this summer.
They’ll start out headlining with the bands The Young Veins and Black Gold as openers.
This makes me wish I lived in the US. I love The Young Veins – and I’ve seen Black Gold open for Panic At the Disco once, they’re really good.
At the end of July, Rooney will join the Shout It Out tour opening for Hanson, while they’ll still throw in some headlining shows. All the tourdates that’s been confirmed are up on Rooney-band.com – and I’ve started adding them to RooneyJuice. You can get tickets for most of the shows that Rooney headlines on Rooneytix.com.
If you buy your ticket on Rooneytix.com, you’ll get a signed tour poster with your order.

Seems like Taylor and Louie had fun while they were on the set of ICGE
Taylor Locke & the Roughs
Taylor and Chris are currently in the studio recording TLATR’s 2nd album. You can read a little about that on TLATR.com
Taylor has done an interview with the Rock & Roll Report, where he answered a question about Rooney’s new album.
Q: Anything you can tell us about the new Rooney CD coming out later this year?
A: It’s eclectic and cool, and we self-produced it. I’m proud of my contributions and my bandmates’ contributions. We did it at Robert’s home studio, and some at me and Ned’s studio as well. I played lots of slide guitar, which was fun for me. It’s the same good-time Rooney you’re used to, but with a few new twists. Some psychedelia, some jazzy bits, etc. Check it the fuck out!
Thanks to Ale from TLATR.com for that one.

Seems like Rooney will be opening for Hanson this summer.
Robert tweeted this :
“The summer tour is broken into three parts, Rooney headline, then we join up with our friends Hanson, then back to headline dates.”
Anyway, the Hanson part of the tour starts on July 21st – All the tourdates are up on Hanson.net
I hear that there’s a pre-sale starting tomorrow at 10am. The pre-sale is only for Hanson.net members.
I know, I know… I’ve been horrible at updating and I’m kinda out of excuses… But it is the busiest month at work and I’ve had a lot going on.
First of all…. No more soundcheck at the Rooney shows.
The band has run into some venue restrictions, and has been forced to cancel the open soundchecks.
They are however, still doing the meet & greet if you buy a Wild One EP
There’s a few new video diaries in case you’ve missed them :
Tyler took (once again) some amazing pictures of Rooney at their show @ El Rey in LA
Here’s a few, but he has a lot up on his facebook page

Hey Friends,
Hope your Halloween was fun. I’m writing to let you know we’re going on tour next month and we’ll need you’re help promoting the shows. It’s always hard to get the word out that we’re on tour. I’ve heard people complain about not knowing about a show in his/her town. It’s always effective to think of the various ways you’ve heard about a tour coming to your town. Coffee shop windows, indie record stores, college campus, etc. There’s always a good spot for a tour poster. Also, there are lots of ways to make noise online. I’m not hip to all the ways, but things are growing and changing so rapidly, the “DIY” approach is more effective than ever. We’re one of the few bands in this world that has a dedicated fan base who take things to a new level, the street team. Most fans don’t want to go above and beyond and help a band he/she loves. Thank you for helping and being apart of our bands future. We do recognize the work you do for us and appreciate the time you invest. Hopefully, our band will continue to grow and appeal to newer fans and recruit new street team members. Please come and say hello at the shows; it’s nice to connect with you face to face.

Sorry for not updating sooner. I’ve been really busy and then I got sick… I did try to tweet everything
There’s a new SayNow update… Most interesting news (if you ask me ;P) is that there’ll be 4 songs on the Wild One EP.
Speaking about the EP… In case you haven’t heard, the EP will only be available at the shows on the Wild One Tour (though I’m sure they’ll put them up in their merch store if they have any left afterwards).
Opening on the Wild One Tour will be Tally Hall and Crash King.
There’s been created events on facebook for the Rooney concerts – remember to RSVP if you’re on facebook and going to a concert – http://bit.ly/8ZTfp
There’s 2 tour posters… One with the dates (that we know so far) http://bit.ly/iLNfp and one ‘Wild One Tour’ http://bit.ly/iLhuX - Print them out, post them in your city or on your myspace, facebook and everywhere you can think off
Studio 21 has a video interview with Rooney from when they were at Trinity University earlier this year.
Watch it here.
